PA Powder Works

Powder Works is a small powder coating business located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This new business needed a web site to highlight how powder coating works and to show why it's better than priming and painting on metal. Constant inquiries about the process of powder coating suggested that a web site could be used to great advantage in educating customers. To meet this need, a question and answer forum was implemented on the site where anyone can ask questions about powder coating. Also, an image gallery shows the great finishes that are achievable with powder coating.

A bobbin collector wanted to showcase her antique bobbin collection online. These antique wooden bobbins played an important part in the early textile industry as they were integral to the mechanized production of thread, yarn and cloth. Since her collection had grown so large, Becki also thought it would be great to sell a few of these handcrafted wooden bobbins to other antique collectors. Information about the bobbins and some early textile mills is catalogued in a database that can be easily updated with new information.
